Lola (Dolores)'s Story
Hey!
No....that's not me getting married....
The photo is of me watching my oldest adopted daughter walking up with her Dad (my husband Scott) on the beach in Madison,CT last summer (2008).
(I think the sun was in my eyes.) I don't really have many other photos to share as I'm usually the one taking the photos.
Since I left school in 1971 (not graduating)...I opted for a GED instead so I could be free to pursue my dream of living out West, travelling, writing and photographing or filming just about everything I experienced. I had a great time, but eventually realized it was time to settle into "real life", which I did in Arizona for a bit. After my Dad became critically ill, I returned to CT to marry and live briefly until the wanderlust got the better of me once more.
Off I went.

gave birth to 2 kids, adopted 2 more (older) from my current husbands' first marriage and here I am....years later.
I'm working again as an Interior Designer and Sales Rep for a furniture company, loving it! I maintain my art studio part-time where I create one of a kind hot and warm glass art.
Scott and I saw 2 of our girls marry last year and now awaiting to become Grandparents one day.(Don't know when yet....bummer.)
I wish everyone a wonderful Holiday season blessed with the love, joy and warmth of friends, family and good health.
I would love to hear from many of you...so bring it on and drop a line sometime soon. (After all, even if we feel young in our heads and spirits, we aren't getting any younger! Ugh.....LOL!!!)
